Flashes intermittantly only during acceleration and cornering. I don't feel any grabbing or anything to suggest the park brake is sticking, so I'm assuming its a weak switch thats making during said conditions. Anyone else ever run into this or know where the brake switch is? Thanks

I never thought that light was multi-function. It comes on to indicate parking brake is set only, right?

No 3 three reasons only, well four.

parking brake set
low fluid in master cylinder
a brake line snapped grounding that thing on the master cylinder, completed circuit and lighted the dash light

of course a serious eletrical problem could cause it as well

Remember DONT open the master cylinder unless you want to flush the fluid. Brake fluid cant be exposed to air.

Now go figure out WHY the fluid level was low.

Most often it is due to severely worn pads (or shoes). It can also be due to a leak.

Only adding fluid can cause a false sense of security.

Thanks SHO. Makes sense. I know I'm due for pads n rotors, its been awhile, but stopping power is still so good that it's easy to forget.
