...and more and more "no fault" clauses and indemnity clauses will find their ways into EULAs for Linux products to protect their user base as MicroSlurp slowly but steadily continues to lose ground to cheaper and more innovative SW.

Linux still isn't for the everyday user, but it's getting closer and closer.

I find anyone touting that MS would start to sue private users of Linux to be almost laughable. There is NO quicker way for that company to alienate even more of it's user base that it already has.

Suing end users isn't just a good way to alienate, but also a logistical nightmare! The resources that it would require to track, and capture people would be totally insane!! Microsoft will only ever go after the big-scale pirates, and mostly distributors. Challenging each and every end user is not their way. If you look at Windows XP you can see the way that they are going, locking you out if you're not legal. Now there is of course a chance that they could 'lock out' (loose term) applications that they believe tolerate terms, but I would highly doubt this too.
