I'll be honest, it wasn't my first choice. However, I plan on studying abroad spring semester of next year(in New Zealand... oh yeah. ) Since I'm gonna be on the other side of the world in about a year, my dad told me he would pay for some of the car because my younger sister will be driving it when I leave. Prices on liberties are pretty decent, and I am going with the Renegade. In 05' the Renegade has some pretty cool features that it never had before, so with that in mind and the cheap payments it worked out. The 05' Renne has the classic jeep front end, without the bubble hood, and it comes with stock fog lights that actually make a difference. I would have gone with a sportier ride, but my sister is no great driver, so there is no way she could handle a stick. If I wanted my dad to help out with payments I had to get a slushbox, even though they do offer a six speend version of the Renegade I go to school in Cleveland, and we get a ton of snow, so I figured an SUV would be a good call. Jeep makes great cars that can handle whatever, and the Liberty is the cheapest car they make. The Wrangler is almost twice as much, and you only get half the car... So the Liberty works for me. I got the Renne with all the off-road options and it looks pretty slick, I'll post pics of the Mystique and the new car on friday when I make the switch. Hopefully, the new Jeep will work out.
