i was wondering, could i possibly replace my cat w/ a downpipe and put an in-line cat where the resonator is? if not, is it illegal to run w/out a cat?

laws very from state to state but I am pretty sure it is illegal to run without a cat and also to midify it in anyway


but of course this hasn't stopped people before


if your state doesn't have emmisions testing, since this is when they do a visual, you could get away with it

The catalytic converter needs to be within 26 inches of the exhaust port to function properly. You cn extend this range by shielding the exhaust so that it retains more heat.
