i want a used car . have about $10000 -$15000 to spend. also its got to last me a few years.so i dont want to get bored with it. also need rear seats for the kids .so the supra is out.it only has 2 seats right? dont mind 2+2. i saw fast and furious 2 last night .i really like the eclipse.not with all the graphics and stuff.but i think a standard one with a set of big rims will look proper.

wow,i like front wheel drive ,because thats what im used to. but im not really bothered.
Honda Accord Coupe V6 -dont want honda Honda Civic Si -dont want honda Toyota Solara V6 -i will have to do a search. Toyota Celica GT-S -i do like this.i was considering this.they come in 140 bhp and 180bhp right?but they are starting to look a bit dated. Mitsubishi Eclipse V6 -really like it. Pontiac Grandprix GTP -dont like it Pontiac GrandAM GT Coupe -dont like it Mini Cooper S -do like it ,but i would prefer a car you cant get in england. VW Golf GTi-do like it ,my friend has a turbo and i do love driving it.i like the interior.it feels solid. Ford ZX2 -dont like it Ford Focus SVT -i kinda like it ,but would prefer a rs one.i dont think they had the 2litre turbo in usa? Saab 9^3 -i like this. Volvo C70 -i really do like this car. BMW 3XX series - i like bmw,had a go of a friends e30 325i .very nice.my brother has a 323i,1999 i dont like it so much,he is looking at a 330 coupe ,now that i told him im looking at getting a mustang.
i want to test drive a mustang, then an eclipse, and also the c70.when i get there. but on looks at the moment i think its between the mustang and eclipse.

Focus RS .. haha, wouldn't we all. Not available in the States.
The Toyota Solara is basically a coupe Camry (your basic, commuter, family sedan, only in two-door form). Reliable, slightly luxurious but none too sporty; often owned by mid-40s businessmen.
Funny how you say for the Mini you don't want it because it's available in England. That is one of the reasons for its appeal around here, the fact it's a European car. One of my British professors drives one

I think you need to drive the eclipse. Then you probably won't want it anymore. I've driven my friend's eclipse (4cyl, but new body style) and it is not what I would call a good car. Interior seems sorta cheap to me, the stock amp was messing up at one point during a drive. And it wasn't a fun car to drive.

What did you just say?
Anyway, check out the Toyota Solara here. Nifty car, nice and roomy. The looks aren't for everyone, but I don't mind them. Kinda looks more like a Lexus than a Toyota to me, but I guess that's part of it's appeal. If it came with an MTX option, I'd ride one with the TRD package for sure.
Oh and I agree with Kremit. The Eclipse is not impressive at all. Slower than last gen and not very roomy, unless your rear seat riders happen to be packages or legless people.

I'm a little biased but I think you should take a closer look at the Volvo C70 when you get on this side of the pond. It has a better back seat than either the mustang or the eclipse, is faster than a v-6 mustang or eclipse (3rd gen anyway) and will give a v-8 stang a run for its money.

Mazda3?
How about a used Mazda6? Not really gutsy cars, but, decently-built, comfortable, and a nice ride.
