Nice, big solid lines kick ars! They can clean just about any thing up, and add a little "VOOMPH" to em. I stick by my original suggestion, and if/once you find a real talented tattoo "artist", have him do what he can/what he thinks and tip him well for his services.

ok, difficult people, my biggest goal here was to point out that you could've all just been nice, smiled and nodded since it IS permenant and saying it looks horrible might send this man into some type of depression or something...or...uh...not...whatever, catch my drift?

being a professional artist in Pen & Ink. I can say that this tattoo can most certainly be touched up and make make to look like the origenal by a compitent artist.
The idea of adding a thick black line should help, but I believe the tat can be saved by simply adding in the black lines in the origenal which provided the "chrome effect". Once that is done the head can be partially 'blacked out' and its shape properly restored.
The design of the tat is hella sweet. Just looks unfinished at this point.
ps: you guys sure know how to make a guy feel like complete [censored]. I know i would be if i had such responses regarding such a perminate thing as a tatto. Ruthless, absolutly ruthless.
BTW Locster: If you would like me to give them an example of how I would go about fixing it. Please PM me and I will do a quick line drawing and email it back to you.

yeah its not as bad as you guys are making it out to be...most of you are just going with the flow of the rest of the posters. Don't be a bunch of sheep... the biggest problem with this tat is the head...it resembles some sort of sabretooth something. I don't know but if the head can be fixed then its a done deal. The body looks fine...the head needs
