you obviously have never gotten a tatoo or seen a good tatoo. A good tatoo artist can make a damn near carbon copy. As far as tatoos go that isn't even intricate. It should have been very easy to do for a good tatoo artist

My thoughts exactly. That is reason you shop around before you get one. Ask to see some previous work from em or something.

All it needs is an EYEBALL DEFINED Once that is fixed, it should be pretty cool. Maybe fill in the ball sack a little bit for more shadow effect.

Yes, if a good tattoo artist was found he could touch it up to look a lot better. The head is so messed up though I don't know what he would do. As Pete said, "this is why I shy away from getting a tattoo." It's not too hard to ask around to see who some friends recommend. Look at the artist's portfolio etc. This tattoo's quality is unexcusable in my book. I think it's one of the worst I've ever seen in all honesty. I'd sure never wear a short sleeve shirt again for sure.

The head does not look like a cat's head. It reminds me of a picture I saw once of what a prehistoric ancestor to the elephant may have looked like. Do you see the eye on top of the head behind the bulge of the short flexible nose or trunk?

Its not the best. the body is acceptable but the head needs work. I dont think its a complete loss and can be fixed. When i got my tattoo though, they scanned my sketch and made it a sticker that left a purple ink outline to trace. a couple of my friends got prety intricate designs and they did the same for them. But i guess your artist thought he could do it freehand.
-the head reminds me of an ardvark though

I've got a very intricate Tattoo and the quality of mine kinda puts that one to shame. I mean no offence, its devotion to get a tattoo of any type, especially a car. as long as your happy with it.

Couldn't find that version, but he woulda been better off with this one. Looks easier to reproduce in a tat.
Nice Symbol
Why is it when I saw the nice symbol I thought "THUNDERCATS ROAR!"
