I don't think I have ever read so much B.S. in one post in my life. Being a public figure, especialy a sports player, you have a certain image to uphold, which requires you to be much more tolerant of certian situations. Now listen, what the fan did was wrong, and should have some reprecussion. But that absolutly does not give Ron the right to march up into the stands, had he not been in the stands, we would not have been talking about this, plain and simple, or the famous ceg qoute "NUFF SAID". Indiana Pacers are vastly at fault for grossly over-reacting, why did the other guy jump in the stands and start fighting as well? Why did he not go up there to pull Ron out. It was clear he had other intentions. Now if Espn wants to say that if a fan jumps on the court, they get what they desereve(total B.S.), then a player who jumps in the stands gets what they deserve, plain and simple! Now tell me what did the guy on the court actualy do to deserve to get blasted? He should have never been there in the first place, but are you telling me this is the first time a fan has jumped on to the court, or field of any sport. Is this the first time somone threw something at another player? Doesn't make it right, and that person deserves to be ejected, fined, and if physical harm is done than arrested and dealt with. Ron Arrtest only got wet from what was thrown at him, the game was over, he was going to the showers, he shouldn' have been laying on the table and in my opinion was taunting. Thats not over re-acting ? I don't think any other stadium would have acted different in a rival situation like this. Typical thug attitude, espn is full of [censored] when they say all other NBA players would have done the same thing . Must be them awful Detoit fans . Can any non Detroiter give me the last major instance at a sporting event at any Detroit game? You will probaly mention events from 10+ years ago .
