Mine had 150k on the odometer when it blew... the first time

I bought my `stique with 121K on the odometer, so I have no idea what happened prior to that. No tranny work showed up on the OASIS report I had run about I bought.

I hope mine lasts as long as your guys' .

I need a suggestion regarding my tranny. I have about 52k and have owned the car since about 36k. I do not believe a transmission flush was ever done on the vehicle. However, I have been doing the 4qt drain and fill method quite regularly (in fact, a bit too often; I'm just paranoid). Anyways, I assume that the tranny needs a flush to get rid of everything built up in the TC, which isn't dealt w/in the drain and fill method. I have done the drain and fill method about 8 times thus far on the 16k miles that I have owned the car. Should I go for a complete flush? Also, what are the chances of the tranny going with a the complete flush, as I have heard horror stories about this? I do realize, that with the changing of the fluids by the fill/drain method, it is quite unlikely for the tranny to go in the flush, but again I'm a paranoid guy. If anyone can offer some advice or suggestions, that'd be great. Thanks.

I've got 162,000 miles on my transmission with no problems. I've had it flushed by the dealer at the recommended 30,000 mile intervals, and I drive it fairly easily. I'm hoping to get at least 200,000 miles on this car before any serious problems set in.

126K on 96 GL Duratec ATX. I've done the drain & refill (2x) routine every 6 months for the last two years. This last time (yesterday) I included Lubeguard. So far I've used 3 different types of Valvoline ATF fluids:

1) Durablend synthetic blend, Dex III, Mercon, Mercon V
2) Mercon V
3) Dexron III, Mercon w/Lubeguard red bottle

If I knew for certain the TransGo Shift kit would put me over 200K I'd do it in a heartbeat, but ... I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
