Looking at the center of the plate, it doesn't look like a GA plate. Don't know what it looks like. I see mostly IN, IL, and TX plates here (wonder why all those TX drivers are headed to Chicago???

Anyway, I ran the 28 thru GA and it comes back "not on file". Any other ideas what state it is?
EDIT: Doh, I didnt' wait for your pic at the top to load before I made my post. Don't I look stupid now. That must be a new plate design for GA I haven't seen yet.
It's not on file, which is not unusual, we have plenty of those here in IL. Just lazy people at the SOS office and the info never gets entered into the system.
It could also be a retired plate, meaning they took the registration off the car or put plates on from another state. The e-bay auction lists the dealer in FL, so likely the plates were retired by the owner rather than transferred to a new vehicle.
