The name does grab your attention, but come on. They had to see this coming.

With all the questions that kids today could ask about what they see on TV, in the movies and on the street ... and considering the kind of language they and their peers are likely using at school - does explaining the term "Bad Ass" rank anywhere near the top of the list of "difficult things we have to teach our kids?"

No.

Actually, I read the story after I posted, and it turns out the guy did expect it. There's no such thing as bad publicity.

How lame is that?? Bad Ass coffee started here in Salt Lake City (Mormon capitol of the world, BTW), and no one said anything about it here. What's the big deal, it's a play on words that has a legit basis.

That a company like Bad Ass Coffee can start in the land of the Mormon's who typically find fault with things they don't partake in, and are not afraid to voice their opinion....... don't have issues with the company name. Coffee is loaded onto asses, so they used a play on words to come up with a unique company.

The idiots that make a big deal about a company like this are just helping them out, so why make an issue out of it?

I have to agree with you there. However, you can't have little Johnny going to first grade telling his teacher and classmates that mommy stopped for a cup of bad ass coffee on the way to school that morning. You would be a bad parent for letting little Johnny say ass.
