was waisting some time at Wal-Mart the other day and saw in the car dept. there is a package w/ a car DVD player w/ two IIRC 7in monitors for like $250...I was like damn if these are any good thats a hell of a price. You go anywhere else and they want like almost 1G for a nice screen. I know this aint Pimp My Ride but for 250 might think of doing some crazy X to tha Z Exibit type stuff to the SVT and put some t.v's in the head rests....ya herrd

I couldn't tell you. I mean, probably depends on what you're wanting from it. it wont be good quality, but I mean, do you really need a $2000 1 gigapixel tv screen in your car? not if it's just to have, I mean if you wanna go to shows then maybe it'll get you points...if you just wanna get neat-o TV, I'd still throw out another hundred or so, I'm sure it'd get you much better quality.
get the model #, look for consumer reviews.

Im not into the whole compitition thing nor would i spend thousands on putting t.v's everywhere in my car. I really wasn't even being too serious about the post but if you cold get the look for 1/10 of the price maybe it is a possibility. i mean if you were playing DVD's through the monitors the DVD video quality would have to be pretty good quality woldnt it? Just some food 4 thought.

tttc, well at $200-300 for a dvd player and two 7in monitors thats pretty good. Im curious as to why you say they wouldnt be good for permanent hookup? you said they worked great and well lets face it, if were not doin car competitions we would only be using them from time to time. Wonder how much it would drain your battery? Im sure alot. It would kinda suck if you would HAVE TO have your engine running every time you watched a DVD. Also how was the picture quality when watching a DVD? clear, fuzzy, grainy, picture shaking?
P.S. im thinkin bout buying them, testing them out, and if I dont like them I'm sure Wal-Mart would take them back

Clicky!!!If you have a busted laptop or a small computer, you could go this route (above). I'm going to try to do this before the end of December. Just a thought! Sean

Simply because of the way they are made, you will have to take the screens out of the base they are in and then figure out how it all works after you open it up and look you will see what I mean. It would just be easier to buy some boss 7" off ebay. In my opnion, but hey I have been wrong befor.

No not that i can tell i watched the entire X Men 2 dvd without the motor running. Cranked up no prob.

It is a great picture no flaws what so ever, only draw back is sunlight. I have dark tinted windows 35% on front 2 and 5 % on the 3 rear, but on a sunny day it is almost impossible to see the tv's.
