What is my next MAJOR service interval after 30,000 miles and what is recommended to be serviced next on a 56,000 mile 99 SVT? Ive been told different things by oil change shops, dealers, and a friends who drives Mustangs. Their opinions are vastly different. I want the opinion of some knowledgeable SVT owners because they know more than a grease monkey will coming from 1st hand experience.Im asking because my miles are not low any more and I want to maintain and keep this car healthy for as long as possible but I dont want to get ripped off too.
This is besides oil, oil filter, air filter changes, and tire rotations. I know I need a new fuel filter for sure. Oil changers said get a fuel injection service done. The dealership said theyre just slickin me for money. My friend said to change spark plugs and wires now. But dealership said to do that between 65-100k but should change PCV valves,fuel filter, and AC filter. Im lost in all this. Someone help please, lol.
