Huh?

You cannot rationally assert that Edwards made his millions taking on crappy cases like this one. So why would you want to make a dolt of yourself by saying that?



Unless there are a whole lot of facts we don't know about in plaintiff's favor on liability, I could hardly care what her "provable" damages would be. Sounds like a BS nuisance suit by the news coverage about it.

BUT: Is that state one with "pure" comparative fault laws, where someone 99% at fault can STILL sue someone else over their 1% fault?

My state ALREADY requires plaintiffs to be no more at fault than defendants (colloquially called the "51% rule"). Maybe that state will consider such legislation.
