April is good for me. Looks like I will still be using the `stique for work, so... I've been using the truck for the past few weeks and it is killing us to say the least! I will keep the ST200's on there for awhile longer, I guess, we will have to wait and see. But I will be getting some more H4S's, a few camber kits and some new plugs. I will be tearing into the UIM/LIM again, for the yearly cleaning. So I should be in good shape.

Anyway, there I go thinking again... If April is cool with everyone else, I will start checking into dyno time for the meet around the end of the month.

Oh yeah! On a whole other note!! You guys remember that heatsheild I was working on at the end of last summer. Well, since I have been broker than a baby on crack, I have not been able to get it up to Hetfield for any temp testing or fitting. But this is the first signs that I have that the sheild is working...

This was taken after a short trip to the store. As you can see, then engine was hot enough to melt the lite snow and ice on the hood, but none of the heat got past the sheild. I was very stoked when I saw it!!

Snow? Ice? It was 63 today. High yesterday (and the past week) has been in the mid to upper 60's, and a couple 70 degree days. WTF is going on!??!

Thanks guys...

Jim, you have a PM.

Hector, thanks... I was stoked when I saw it! Mainly because it was something other than me that said it worked. I will soon have one of these off to Hetfield, so he can do some testing with it; as in fitting it to his different rides and taking some temps.

Only thing I do not have on it right now is the inner coating, which is a must have. Without it, the aluminum sheild acts like a big crock pot once the engine is turned off or during long stops while at idle. I have found a coating that I think will work and is redily avaliable and cheap in bulk, so... Come income tax, I will be working of this some more. I am hoping to do something with it come late Feb or early March.

So April 15-17 good? Solid? This will be good for us as we will be coming off the honeymoon

We are getting married April 4 if everything goes like we plan!!!!! Hopefully going to Disney in Orlando. Hoping we can get all the cash to pay for it. We don't exactly wanna go eat at the golden arches everyday or live in the car for a week...

It is all good! So I think that we should hit April 15-17.

Lemmie know your thoughts!
