Myth

Until my Mystique has RWD and a turbo it will never be anything other than a winter beater.

Almost 10. I think Americans have 85 octane still but here it's 87 so 95 AIN'T far off

So no it's not 10 in all levels cause their highest is above 98 (Shell Optimax) and their premium is 97

The Europeans use a different scale for measuring octane, RON (Research Octane Number) compared to our PON (Pump Octane Number). This article describes the differences nicely.

That's right, I can vouch for that.
I'm not sure about the whole of Europe, but I know that the UK has lower sulphur than N/A.
Another thing I realised when I came here is that my hands always stink of gas when I fill her up. Back in blighty, however, I never had this. Also the greatest things, that I miss, are the automatic air machines. You type in your pressure settings and it inflates/deflates automatically. All electronic, digital, and automatic. Even my mum can do that!!
None around here though, all the old stype gauges.

Last year I had to drive around 60km to find a working tire pump!
