There are plenty of paintless dent removal places that can do it for less than a body shop.
Be carefull trying to DIY. Metal often looks like it'll pop right out and then you try to push it from behind and it doesn't. (Personal experience

Those paintless dent removal places often times use wierd looking tools which are designed to massage the metal back into postion, not necessarily just pop it back into position.
About price, I'm not sure depends on the position & size I suppose. But an estimate is free no matter where you go.
