i talked to a local tune shop (ok the only local tune shop kansas damn!) and the guy said that all he had ever seen was no increase in torque or very slight decrease(ahhh!) and some increase in hp. is it really worth it to remove my resonator? i really want more volume but i care so much about my torque its a blessing in such a small engine. i also asked the guy about dynoing my car. he said i sould dyno the car organize with an exhaust shop to get the resonator temporarily removed and then dyno it again and decide but im lookin at $55 for the dyno which i want to do eventually and however much it would be to get the resonator removed. then if i decide to keep the resonator i have to get it welded back in. more money out of my pocket.
Ive had one reply about puting a magnaflow high flow resinator in (cheers mate) but looking for some possible numbers, dyno readings? perhaps anyone?
any help i can get would be graciously accepted. if you have any knowledge please share it with me ive been tearing myself up long enough. cheers.
