Yes im deffinetly a newbie please lets just cut to the chase. Ive got a '99 contour se sport v6 mtl. I had dual 40 series flowmaster mufflers installed from a y-pipe back (not much work) and I got the car back expecting a huge flowmaster sound(within reason small engine small sound) I got the gorgious flowmaster sound and increased low end torque dramaticly. i drive everywhere in 5th torque out the @$$. (pardon)
anyway ive read about the resonator removal as a major do. Im afraid Ill lose that precious torque i gained though. any numbers or specs or anything that can show me i at least won't lose that torque i gained from just replacing the mufflers? i want the sound volume badly but id rather settle with a quiet but powerful exhaust rather than loud and powerless.
