You do realize that HL2 has MUCH better warez protection in it, right? You can't simply install your friends copy and start playing it.

And FYI, while I have had issues with ATI in the past, if you're going to eliminate them from future purchases you'll also limit yourself to being behind the curve on graphics, since ATI is leaps and bounds ahead of NV now, and in their development process.

Back to the topic, tho, I got it and played around. Its definately a LOT better of an atmosphere than Doom3, and is able to keep your heart racing. The physics are fun, but that wore off quickly. I can see myself toying with it, but the eye candy is old to me, already, and I'm not a big CS player. Unless DoD blows me away, this will end up on the shelf with the other 1000 games I own.
