Also, I forgot about the Ti valve rebuild kit which would help to up the redline at which the engine would be able to run. I think a combo of chip, cam and rebuild kit would make for a screamer, possibly up around 7500 rpm range. I'm going to buy another Contour/Focus for a commuter and I might try this.
