Are they aftermarkets or stainless or something? B/c i have the stockers and they always have a film of brown rust. It goes away after driving around for a little or getting on the breaks hard, but for example, this afternoon they looked clean & shiny from driving untill i washed my car and they got that brown rusty film again . Is there a cleaner that you all are using to keep yours nice or are you guys just taking pics of your car when you have the rust brushed off . Just wondering b/c I hate looking past the CSVT cobra R's only to see rust. Thanks
It is just from hard water or any water for that matter. It is some reaction between the metal and the water, basically a light surface rust. If needed, before pictures, just take a short drive around the block or something, that is what I do.
