I purchased for front and rear rotors zinc plated for CSVT at $130 both pairs. Purchased them 4 months ago and still shines as new.

So your Powerslots don't rust at all? Are they zinc coated? Do you have both fronts abd rears? How muich did they run you?

I don't believe they're zinc-coated, but I'm not 100%. I think the reason they don't rust, is because the slots effectively clean the pad each time they come in contact. They are more expensive than regular replacement rotors, but well worth it. I have these on front and rear, coupled with satisfied pro pads and bendix pads up front. Couldn't be happier with my brakes! Check out Tirerack.com for prices.

Hey guys, I've seen tons of pics where evryones rotors are nice and shiny or atleast a nice metalic black color....How are you guys keeping them looking so good? Are they aftermarkets or stainless or something? B/c i have the stockers and they always have a film of brown rust. It goes away after driving around for a little or getting on the breaks hard, but for example, this afternoon they looked clean & shiny from driving untill i washed my car and they got that brown rusty film again . Is there a cleaner that you all are using to keep yours nice or are you guys just taking pics of your car when you have the rust brushed off . Just wondering b/c I hate looking past the CSVT cobra R's only to see rust. Thanks

It is just from hard water or any water for that matter. It is some reaction between the metal and the water, basically a light surface rust.
If needed, before pictures, just take a short drive around the block or something, that is what I do.
