hmmm, i sorta agree with what we are doin over here. but when bush spilt the beans, that made it completely pointless. i understand the war on terrorism, that it self needs to be stopped. as for those who are serving over here, it all depends on what unit they are with, MOS, and whatever else plays a role in how you see what is going on. being NATIONAL GUARD........you see the difference quite well as far as being treated with respect from other units (this is a bit off topic, but plays in how i see the point of being here). your supply is limited as for what you are given (whether it be parts, chow, clothing, etc.), our facillities are quite limited (MWRs, Chow Halls, housing, etc.), and batallions/brigades point of action towards certain incidents all play MAJOR roles. we have lost many good men and women here, and nothing is done about it (from brigade/batallion) that is. i feel we have made some progress here so far. it has become somewhat more quiet here, but lately has also been picking right back up. i was never one to want to join the millitary, and joined for quite a different reason than money for school and all that sort.......i feel if you want money for school, might wanna get a J....O....B

other than this (unless its what you want). but i am quite glad i did join for the fact that i feel better inside about myself, knowing i helped attempt to make a difference. as well as seen a whole new outlook on life. but back to what your post was about (

my bad), from where im standing.......the millitary in a whole, yes i could see it doing good to be here (but for who we are with, NOPE).

sorry for rambling
