The same goes for military and vets that were in comment. They are not so quick to say I support this war or I support that war BECAUSE they know the horrors of war.

BS, plain and simple. I was in multiple combat zones, including some very bloody battles where I lost close friends. You are making a broad generalization based upon your ADMITTEDLY limited military career. Do NOT try to say that you know how those of us who have actually SERVED feel, for as I stated before, you are a washout from bootcamp, and were never even given a military graduation. You were NOT "in the military", you "tried to be in the military". Big difference when trying to use your experiences as basis of fact.

Trying to make a point. To believe in, or have an opinion in something you don't have to experiance it for yourself.

Actually, you are correct. My opinion does not really hold water. I am not gay and I don't know what it is to be gay. So, why should I even be asked in the first place? Example, who would you rather have being a football anaylist? One who played the game or one who did not. The one who played the game has a unique perspective that is diffrent from the one who did not. The same goes for military and vets that were in comment. They are not so quick to say I support this war or I support that war BECAUSE they know the horrors of war.

Was the post flame bait? Maybe, it was but I really don't give a [censored].

Please antonio, flame bait??? I am trying to figure out this crazy logic that you use.

So your not gay and never were, so your opinion doesnt hold water; I guess we agree on that. So now, you should be gay in order to vote on gay marriage laws? What about gun laws, should those people that own guns be the only ones allowed to vote in gun laws?

No, because that is not the way laws are created. ALL I am saying is if you BELIEVE some much in something then you should be doing something about it.

99blacksesport, I took your last post as a personal attack and I replied. I then deleted due to me re-reading the post again. I never stated YOUR post was flame bait. MY thread title was.

I'll say it in a heartbeat, as will probably 90% of Vets that I support this war wholeheartedly.

Does that mean I should go re-enlist? No. Why? 1)Because I feel I have done my duty to my fellow Americans and country 2)Because my body is beat to hell as is 3)Because my life is just now getting on track yet again.

There are enough people in this country who sign up for the military. And in today's world, with them knowing that they are going to be going into harms way.

And for someone to say to the guy next to him, "If you support the GWOT / OEF, and your not there supporting / fighting, then your a pu$$y is." is just plain wrong.

I like football, yet I should not play it anymore. Does that mean I can't watch the NFL, etc? Which, maybe taken to an extreme, but it is the same line of thinking that you are applying.

I agree if you believe so strongly you should do something about it. But if you don't want to do something about it, that doesnt make you not able to have a valid opinion on the subject.

EternalOne, I am not acting like I served. All I am saying is I love this country so much that I attempted to fight and possibly die for the great country. What is wrong with that? I respect you and everyone that has fully served. I wish I was among the likes of you.
