i wished i had a spare v8 drivetrain lying around when i bought my parts car. i totally stripped the contour for parts and cut the shell up with a torch. i was half-tempted to buy a junkyard drivetrain and make it fit

Speaking of super outlandish drivetrains.............
Take 1 beat up Fiero, salvage drivetrain and suspension. Take 1 kit to instal a 350 into the Fiero. Take 1 early model "Geo" Metro Convertible.
Result, 1 huge feat of engineering to create the ultimate sleeper.

My initial thoughts would be that you'd have a better chance of getting a contour to win a NASCAR race than fitting that chevy smallblock in there with a RWD conversion.
