Anyone do a dyno run with Nitros? I did search. Just wondering if the perforance was worth the time and effort to install a kit.

NOS can be just about as much extra HP as you want. 50+ - 500+ HP, NOS is also the best bang for your buck. I think 50 - 75 HP ZEX is about 500.

ahem..there's a 75shot svt here that lost to a SVT with only a k&n and y pipe..and no cats. They only raced that one night so I don't know if anythings improved since then...

I have had no IMRC for a few months now and can tell the car drags ass down low with the secondaries pinned. But still, if you wan't, I'm game. Ask Jim and Andy (2K SVT and 95 MID) what the results were with me vs a 2000 SVT on a 75 shot... Basically, from a 25 mph roll in second gear, with Andy in my car, I put about 5 cars on Jim by the middle of third. Jim has a KKM and Borla. From a dead stop you might take me, as I, #1 have the secondaries pinned and #2 can't launch worth a shi*. But I will catch ya, I am sure of it.... PS, You are not forgetting your Diablo Chip, are you???

I ran a 75 shot and I outran a new 2000 mustang gt. I had two passengers and he had 1, and I whipped the sshiit out of him. It was a Nitrous Express wet kit. warmonger

It's possible it was in wrong...but I'm just telling you what I heard, and other people saw. It is a zex kit...and from what I hear there was alot of tire spin on the NOS SVT. However, the car he was running with is one of those "fast" ones. Definitley int he 14's, and no he's not NOS either....
I liek the idea of outrunning a new mustang GT. Was it from a stop?? I have a friend with one. I want to see what I can do from a rolling start (20-25 in 2nd gear). NOS is definitley sounding good to me right now though!!
