Ok, my opinion, and remember, this is just my opinion, so don't take me too seriously here...
Get a single Adire Audio Shiva and a nice ~500 watt amp. That alone would sound better, not to mention get just as loud, as everyone else here's suggestions so far. Just if you go that route, make sure you ask them for an SQL box size so you can get the most out of it.

I don't mind opinions at all...don't get me wrong and I wasn't trying to be pissy but I bet some of the same people that only buy the best stereo's get angry when someone makes fun of them for driving a Contour...... =)
BTW I do have an alarm system but they aren't exactly fail safe if someone wants your stuff bad enough.

Now that everyone is interested in this thread would anyone care to recommend a good spot to mount the amp ? I read the sticky about not mounting them upside down under the deck. I've noticed alot of people doing that an know that some of them have cooked also but I think Best Buy did some of those installs too.....hehe.

try to mount it vertically, i hear you get better cooling out of it that way

as long as its not upside down it dosen't really matter where you mount it. as long as there is enough air flow.

Cool. Thanks for the replies y'all. Need to venture out to Home Depot and get a sheet of crap to redo the spare tire cover...thing is like cardboard.
