You might be better off with a 6-pack of Funky Pups.

IMO Pyle makes decent quality subs...especially for the price. Don't expect Kicker Solobaric performance, but I bet the Pyle's would surprise most everybody.

Cool, thanks. I listened to an Infinity 12" sub at Circuit City that I liked today but don't want to pay those folks to much. I'm cheap what can i say...hehe. At a place down the street from them I can get a cheapo Crunch amp that is rated 500x2@4, 2 Audiopipe 12" subs and a sealed box for 280 bucks. I don't care if they hear me 10 blocks away as long as I get some decent sounding bass in the car. I will probably have the gain on the amp turned down a little anyways. The subs are rated 375w rms if I remember right. I've no experience with the Audiopipes but have heard some higher end subs that didn't sound all that great to me but maybe were designed for all out loudness anyway. Peace !

I get the feeling from reading posts (and I have searched alot) that unless someone says "I've got money to blow on cheap $300 subs and cheap $600 amps so some hood can come and steal them a week later" that everything is a laugh.
Don't get me wrong I totally understand that a $40 sub is not going to sound or perform as well as a $150-300 dollar sub in most cases but it would be nice to get an answer instead of jackass remarks from people that know everything.

don't come here asking for opinions then get mad when people tell you the truth. maybe save your money and apply it towards getting a grip.

Even for the price, I could find better sounding subs. Audiobahn 12s you cand find on the net for $40, and although they arent exactly mid-grade either, they are more worth $40 then pyle.
And for everyone else that downs people for liking Pyle/Pyramid/Boss/Audiobahn/Sony, just let them be. If they happen to like the way that stuff sounds, then that's for them. A good reply would be "I think it sucks, so do the majority of people I know" not "You are such a low-line idiot for even saying that brand out loud." Then again, we all have the choice to be a-holes, as long as the board allows it.
Once again, those were just opinions.
