Plus you might want to have your default movement be ADWZ or X AND the arrow buttons.
The background kinda messes with your eyes and makes keeping your eye on the ship kinda hard (But I'm old )
The enemy ships are kinda hard right from the start so I didn't get far
Does it recognize joysticks?
Also does it access the internet for some reason? My firewall caught it.
yeah, it has an internet high score list, so you can compare your score against all of your friends. if it weirds you out, you can just say no - shouldnt cause any problems.
there's no sound in the game, we poured everything we had into just getting it working at all
you can change the controls to whatever you want in the controls menu, and if you have a joystick, it will detect that too. just plug the joystick in before you start the game, and then when you click the key for up, for example, hit up on the joystick.
now officially a troll, i guess. used to have a black 96 SE, until it broke down one too many times.
now I'm hunting for a motorycle.

Very cool... If you're ready to take it further, I suggest checking out my 3D engine, we're becoming one of the more popular engines on the net, and our new version has everything you could ask for (3D, media, networking, and able to program using any language you want). www.Truevision3D.comE1

I was going to ask Eli what program they used to make their game, but I am downloading Truevision3D right now. As most of you know, I use Blender a great deal and it as the capiblity to design games and such. I have played with it, in the past, just never got really far. Maybe I should pick it back up...

Not trying to hijack the thread, but I wanted to point out one more thing. TV3D is currently being used by the US Military, multiple Gov't agencies including in NASA's next generation space simulator, Saab, and the BBC. We've got major clients all over the world, and I am currently writing a 6 page article for Europes biggest software magazine, all dedicated to how TV3D can save development time and money, and I've written two chapters for different books in the past 4 months about game development middleware, which will be coming out within the next 6 months. We have a huge community of users who are all indie devs, working on very complex 3D apps. TV3D eliminates the need to learn DX programming, and allows you to code using any language you want (VB, VB.Net, C#, C++, Delphi, etc). Overall it just makes sense. =)

(Sorry, marketing off, lol... Btw, I'm darqSHADOW on there, the owner and Project Manager, plus I coded the entire website and networking engine.)
