Hi over there!
Im from the UK with a Mondeo ST24 (2.5l Duratec V6) with a really irritating pinking problem at around 2500-3000rpm.
Heres a list of what I've tried:
Vacuum pipes are ok - no leaks.
Manifold gaskets fine (upper & lower)
Brand new spark plugs with correct gap - HT leads tested OK.
Tried 98RON superunleaded.
I've decoked the engine.
All valve and sensor wiring OK.
I havent touched the IMRC yet. Anyone think this will have an effect?
Damn pinking.
