How long do you think brand new SVT shocks with an H & R spring set up will last?

The car is just a daily driver no track days.

I have a friend at Ford that can get me the factory shocks cheaper than anything else I can find out there. I only want the springs for the look anyways.

Shorter then normal.

20-30k is a feasible guess for normal driving on good roads.

Stockers last about what 40-50k maybe and I am not talking about them starting to leak. They lose significant bound & rebound capability long before they physically fail.

ive had the h&r springs on my stock shocks for a couple months now, i think they ride better than the stock springs, and they also make it look alot better, since thats what your shooting for i reccomend them. installation is a pain tho.

I have been running h&r's on stock struts for prob 5k miles. and although they dont seem to be blown. I have noticed the ride get worse over time. But im confused as to how a strut goes bad if it doesnt loose oil?

So if you change in some Koni's or something with the H&R's will they last a long time?

Thanks Kremit yea I think the stock set up in the SE is starting to go out. It now has 70K miles so I think its time to replace them.
