Can anyone recommend a decent and knowledgeable repair doood in Memphis? I may need to have them torch my outer tie rods off as they've seen 5 Michigan winters.

Just to note...the Ford dealer broke everyone of my alternator bolts when they replaced that...amazing how salt can fug up your underbody!!

Also...any good paint shops?

You can do the outer tie rods yourself, just takes some muscle.

I think I can too..but the last time I got a 4 wheel alignment..the tech had to "fire up" the outer tie rod to make the adjustment. I just want to be prepared...

I've done a SEARCH...and read all the post on how its done...doesn't seem that bad at all...

not sure about a reputable repair shop...but i do know a couple of great places for body work and paint...not the cheapest places in the world,but they do it "right"....holler at me if you need their info...
