The stock TB diameter (2.75" outside) will outflow the engine upto about 200BHP. And the stock MAF diameter (3" outside) is good to slightly more.
Remember things in the intake are sized to keep air movement and volume at a specific level.
I got mine to run the big injectors I have.  
Well you actually need it for the extra air,
you should have used a programmed chip to run larger injectros, that the proper way. 
I did....the car wouldn't run with just the injectors/MAF.
