The Contour uses a hydraulic lifter and the Focus uses a solid lifter. You may want to send Comp an e-mail and find out if it will work. For reference, feel free to check out my Cam Comparison BTW, I love the color of your Mk1. Was that a stock color? As long as they are tuned without a lot fo overlap and the exhaust cam doesn't have a huge increase induration, the engine will see a power gain.
