The only thing that Comp doesn't list is what type of lifter that their cam is for. The Contour uses a hydraulic lifter and the Focus uses a solid lifter. You may want to send Comp an e-mail and find out if it will work.

Yes you can run stage 1 cams.

i emailed competition warehouse USA about whether to get stage 1 or stage 2 cams for future use with nitrous and/or supercharger and they suggested stage 2 would be better?

oh and my mk1 is ford alberto green, yep a stock colour. one of the reasons i bought it was the colour!

Depending on the adjustment of the cams with cam gears and the duration of the exhaust cam, it might be a good idea. As long as they are tuned without a lot fo overlap and the exhaust cam doesn't have a huge increase induration, the engine will see a power gain.
