my understanding is u can have whatever lights u want on the car even the amber construction or security lights on top. the problem comes from u actually using them. thats why they say for show use. u can cover your car with red and blue strobes and a cop cant (or shouldnt) be able to do anything to u. if u turn them on and the car is moving, your screwed. if your on private property and moving, you are supposed to be ok. if your at the mall parking lot with your blue underbody kits on and a cop sees it, u better be sure the mall security gave u permission to turn them on for show use. but if the car starts to move, its ticket time. cops can tell fake blue xenon bulbs from miles away.
