guess what guys (girls)! last night on the way home from work, i heard a ticking sound in the engine (plus my car was vibrating alot!) while i was driving so i was like ok let me pull over and get gas anyways because i was on empty so i go and i check under the hood n i hear the ticking sound from the timing gear area. so w/e i was going to take my car to my friends house after school for him to check it. and like 15 houses down from his house at a curve, my car dies and i have to use the e-brake slowly because my brakes locked from the car being off. well i was like damn let me pull over and start it again im right there. i try to start it and nothing so i call my dad and he gives me the mechanics # and my mechanic comes and checks it and it kept bogging out so he takes off the timing gear cover and he tells me to accelerate and when i accelerated snap theres goes the timing belt. so i get my friend from down the street to tow me with his 4x4
to his house and the mechanic said that he cant do it today
that he will have to do it tommorrow morning. well and when i check my tires to see what was causing the vibrations, i see that my front left tire has a rip in the rubber! thats even worse plus im low on oil which i changed two weeks ago! what a bad day. so the belt was $35 plus the tire im going to have to get tommorrow plus the labor for the work.
Well, while the engine was not being used i started taking the things out so i can change the PCV Valve tommorrow
. what a bad day i had. this really sucks and i used $150 a week ago on new plugs/wires and a new battery.
so im going to be without my baby for about a week
