Well, those could potentially be 2 different stories entirely, as "Police Shoot Man" is ambiguous as to why they shot Man. That's not to say that the media isn't at fault for misleading people in headlines in order to get them to tune in and watch the full story, because they often do exactly that.

Um... I don't recall saying that "I don't blame them" for what they say. In fact I specifically said that they deliberately mislead people in order to get them to tune in later and hear the full story.
