So this MILF was making small talk with me at a coffee shop during my dinner break... She was telling me about how her car was making a clicking noise when she drove. I asked her what type of car it was, and she told me it was a 2004 Eclipse GTS. Okay, that's pretty cool I'm thinking... Then she tells me more about her car and how she had NEVER changed the oil on it. She told me she bought it with 200 miles and now it had over 14,000!  I kindly suggested that she go change her oil before the engine well, fell apart. It pains me to go 3,500 miles without changing it, but 14,000...jesus christ. She didn't know why oil should have to be changed every 3,000 miles and thought it was just their way of ripping us off. "Well, where does the oil go? I've never changed my oil before. I don't know why I need to!" Also, apparently she owes 35k on the car as well. Several thousand from old loans and interest, bringing her monthly payment to a reasonable 700 dollars a month. No wonder the b*tch is single...

while 13K is not a good idea on conventional oil, it's not the worst i've heard. some friends at dealers have seen lease turn-ins with the original oil filter on it still (i guess there's a way to tell?  )

I don't know about that car, but the new Saabs recommended oil change interval is 15,000 miles on 8qts of mobil 1. My friend has a Saab 9-3 that just went in for its first service at 14,xxx miles. The car has an oil quality indicator, and the dealer won't change the oil until it says it needs to be changed. So if her car is one of these long drain interval cars, she might be all right, if its not, don't ever buy a used car from her

i knew a guy with a yukon denali he was leasing, never once changed the oil. It had like 25000 miles on it when he brought it back. He said it wasn't his car so what didi he care? My aunt had an old 200sx she didn't change the oil on for a few years as well...she never went more than a couple miles a day in it but still.
