I don't know about that car, but the new Saabs recommended oil change interval is 15,000 miles on 8qts of mobil 1. My friend has a Saab 9-3 that just went in for its first service at 14,xxx miles. The car has an oil quality indicator, and the dealer won't change the oil until it says it needs to be changed. So if her car is one of these long drain interval cars, she might be all right, if its not, don't ever buy a used car from her
