I encourage folks to look through your posts as it seems your fondness of the Contis has only gotten stronger as others have said they weren't a good option. Only after people started posting better options did you start defending the ContiExtremes. In fact in other threads where there was no one to recommend against the Continentals your own posts recommended some Yokohama's, Kuhmo's, and Pirelli's BEFORE your blessed Continental's.
But now, when others suggest alternatives you go in a tizzy saying they're great for the money or saying they were never a performance tire. The truth is there are MUCH better options that are cheaper and have better performance AND are all-seasons. I could recommend my tire but then it would be my word against yours and that doesn't benefit CEG in any way. Call Luke@ Tirerack and ask about the Continentals; that's what I did and that's why I bought Yokohama all-seasons.
