The Hella 90mm modules can be made to fit. I ran them for awhile and Josch is running a setup similar to my old one. Both of our cars are pre-98s, FYI. You'd want to mod its cutoff shield (simple) and aim them level. They would be basically a auxiliary lowbeam but would work well in the fog. They put down a bit too much light to be used on some roads in the rain (it bounces off the road and lights up the cars in front of you).
Anyway, the 90mm units are halogen, you can get xenon, but they are costly. Something like $500/ea, IIRC. The halogen unit can be retrofitted for much less. A slight bend of the cutoff shield will give you the bluish color shift that will make you appear closer to HID if you want to save the money. HID would be relatively pointless this close to the ground.
The DOT 90mms are around $60/ea and the ECE version (tighter beam pattern, razor sharp cutoff) is around $100/ea. The ECE version takes an H7 that could be replaced with a SilverStar if you stayed halogen. That with the bent cutoff shield would make you look very close to HID.
If your just looking for color, scratch what I said and look at fitting some SilverStars.
