We leave and we leave even more innocents to die than did Bush Sr. when we fell short of our goals. And as far as M Moore goes...well he's a bastard. He doesn't believe in anything except for the almighty dollar. He will believe in whatever can make him the most money.

Word. That was my point. I think he's caused so many people to become disillusioned with his message that anything else preaches will be lost on a majority of his potential audience.
The Democratic Party is now the party of MIchael Moore, whether they wanted to be or not. If they ever want to be viable again, they need to distance themselves from the radical left. Given the changes in the House, Senate, governorships, and Bush's reelection, I can't think of a stronger message that the public could have sent about their distaste with Moore and others like him.

Yes, there is a difference between being on the ballot and being paraded around as the spokesperson. But if I understand correctly, Michael Moore got a 'VIP' seat at the Democratic convention. I suppose I don't know the qualification for getting that seat, but it doesn't seem to me they were trying to bring distance between themselves and Michael Moore. Whether you like it or not, F 911 and the rest of that faction of the left (CBS/60 Minutes, Dan Rather, NYT, and George Soros) probably has as much to do with the recent mobilization of the right as anything.

right...republicans were the only voters 'mobilized' by bs propaganda and partisan posing. i'd bet there were just as many voters mobilized by mm as there were by the swift boat vets.

BP, look at his post again. It doesn't say anything about the right being the only ones that were mobilized. It just says that M.Moore was one of the reasons, among various other ones, that the right was mobilized. We are not disputing the fact that the left was mobilied. They had to have been to get the voter turnout that they did.
