i dont think its worth it. save your money and get the new x-box. sony is struggling to prefect the blue ray technology for ps3 plus microsoft is basically gonna drive sony off the game market. right now it costs microsoft and sony approximately 400 bucks to produce the xbox and ps2. microsoft cut the price for more competition down to 150 as you see it now. microsoft (mainly bill gates) has enough money that they dont even care that they loose 250 bucks on every sale. gates make up the money loss in interest on his investments. microsoft also bought out all the licenses on the new games and will produce them, so i a few years a huge chunk of the us gaming market will be dominated by microsoft. and sony and nintendo wont be able to compete
