Grassroots Motorsports. Hands down.

Too cheap to subscribe, but it's CAR for me every time I run by Barnes and Noble.
Out of the US rags, Automobile and Car and Driver are the ones I read, but don't subscribe to.
Automobile has gotten a lot better over the years, and I like the C&D articles by John Phillips or every time they cover some kind of interesting machine.

I'd vote for:
Car & Driver - mainstream Sport Compact Car - import/performance Grassroots Motorsports - niche mag

Again I must urge everybody who is REALLY into performance cars to pick up a copy of grassroots.
That being said american car magazines are full of crap. They are afraid to give any real opinions and they are written with a normal shmo in mind instead of a real enthusiast.

Fugg, forgot about Grassroots, let my subscription run out, never renewed.
That mag makes me want to do stuff to my car so I don't read it anymore.

Automobile Car and Driver European Car Auto Week
I used to subscribe to SCC, Road and Track, and something else.
It was getting to be really redundant. . .I like Euro Car for their project cars, gave me alot of good ideas for my car. . .Automobile has awesome pics, C&D has great comparo's, and Auto Week keeps me up-todate on what's on the up and up. . .i read too fast I guess. . .

Currently I have subscriptions to Car and Driver and Street Rodder, and I try and get out to buy Sport Compact car as much as I can. I'm also planning on getting another subscription to Hot Rod. These pretty well cover all my automotive interests whether it be new cars or old school hot rods.

I forgot about Automobile, and I've never heard of Grassroots. Gonna have to check it out. Thanks for the replies everyone. I've been looking for some new car mags to read.
