Holding value is only good if you're leasing. Otherwise, who cares? Nobody buys a daily driver to make money.

OK, so you're between a Japanese Coupe and a German Sedan. I don't get the hairsplitting, but alright.

Consider that the G is a Nissan family product. So, quite a bit of swapping is possible from other platforms that carry the same drivetrain (350Z). If you're looking at "upgrades," this might be important. By the same token, BMW support is ubiquitous, as well, and even some M-class parts will fit. Blah, blah, blah.

First you've got to figure out how many doors you want, and what you're buying for. Break it down to individual factors and then decide how important each factor is to you.
