Bags deploying does not always = salvage. My best friend happens to work for an auto insurance company.

Update: The officer on the scene has narrowed his list of suspects to a single woman. He has ordered a picture of her, and will have me identify her through the photo shortly. This means that I will get her insurance info, and find out if the car will be totalled or not. As I said before, if it is totalled, I will likely not be able to get a Contour, because they are very hard to find in this area. Do you all have any suggestions for other makes of cars? The most I can afford will probably be $7000, and 'Tours are out, as are 'Tiques (Havn't seen one around here, ever.), but if you all can reccomend anything else, I would appreciate it greatly.

Howd the cop get her info and/or picture? Thats pretty cool. Was there a whitness that got her tags or a traffic camera or something?

Nope, had to do it the old-fashioned way (There isn't even a traffic light in this county, so no cameras.). I gave him her description, and vehichle description, and he went searching. I think the police/government has photos of every citizen btw, not completely sure, but that is what I make of it. If not, someone goes and takes a picture.

If you want twisty, come here. Route 617 is probably the best racing for a long way, and it is the equivalent of some european tracks... Hills, wicked curves, and beautiful scenery make it one of the best places to race =). Makes me miss my 'Tour even more...

My CSVT is for sale if you're interested. I had to move to Ukraine for work so I have to sell my beloved SVT. Its a 98 with about 50,000 miles on it. It's in great shape and I just had the clutch and synchros replaced and a few other things so in addition to looking good, it runs great and should continue to do so for a long-time to come. I'm also asking $6950 so it just fits within your budget.
