Why is he wasting his time putting on a false front to be respected in his community? In "corporate", we are all required to become cultivate our professional image, which is very different than our demeanor outside the workplace. Once I leave the workplace, I am myself, and if people don't like who I am, that's their problem.

That said, as long as AA exist, a minority will always be suspected of being less qualified, less able, less desirable. Promoting an equal workplace is no longer just the right thing to do, it is good business.
