I would rather agree with Antonio - the racism does exist and even flourish; however it's the black racism we are talking about with never ending whining and blaming white ppl for every plague and problem affecting/aflicting black community. That's why Bill Cosby is the public enemy # 1 of the black community these days - Mr. Cosby never hesitated to point out the factors that cause problems amidts African-Americans.

Chinese people worked as slaves building the trans-coninental railroads, but their hard work paved the way for their ultimate success.

Irishmen - the sandhogs - worked their asses off digging canals and tunnels in NY and NJ; hard work put them above prejudices against "mikes."

Jewish people were not allowed to expand beyond limited small merchant ranks even "as far" as in the early 1950's. Look at 'em now.

Italians were despised for their alleged peasantry and were ridiculed and denied employment, look at 'em now.

But the black community prefers to indulge in the convenient myths about white ppl putting crack pipe in their mouths, they - especially the younger generation who never really experienced racism on their own skin - prefer to identify themselves with the "cool" gangsta life style and complain about inequality. C'mon now, stop BSing yourself and everybody else.

R_G excellent post and I agree with that.

Now I hate America? That is a new one to me.
