cocaine is extracted and refined from the coca plant. i would say that it takes alot more processing than growing damn pot leaves...
heroin is DEFINITELY not that simple either...



Nothing you can't learn to do online and accomplish fairly easily. The manufacture of methamphetamine is much more involved, and people make that all the time. The difference is:

1: Environment. The climate here is not conducive to growing the plants needed for these drugs (some areas of the South excepted)

2: The South American/Asian Drug Cartels. They don't want the business competition of manufacturers here in the states. The raw plants/seeds capable of germination therefore are not that prevelant.

An indoor growing operation could easily produce either drug, and with a lot less complication than Meth. Meth is easier to make, however, because it only requires typical household chemicals, and there is no need for large amounts of electricity (growing lights) or land (to grow fields of plants).

Subpeonas of electric bills are one way to prove indoor growing farms, hence again why it would be difficult to produce cocaine/heroin here.
